How to void a signed agreement

How can an e-signed agreement be canceled or voided in Adobe Sign/Acrobat Pro?  I know it can be canceled before it's e-signed, but how can it be done after it's e-signed by both a client and myself?

Sometimes a client has to cancel a signed contract before we start a project with them, and I haven't been able to find a way to void the contract.  I've had to print the signed contract, scan & save it as a regular PDF file, then add a watermark "VOID" to it.

Surely there's a way to do this within Adobe Sign / Acrobat.

Dude then why comment if you're not going to help. You just keep commenting all of this stuff and not helping get off the forum.

Did you ever get an answer to voiding a completed agreement?

No I haven't.  Really frustrating that a program like Adobe Pro doesn't have that option.  Sometimes contracts have to be voided.

There is no such option. You will need to create a new agreement that gets signed by all parties that declares the prior agreement void. The way you do it, by printing and marking void does not make it void, as long as not all parties agree to this.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Ok...  I'm confused, and a bit tech-challenged, but I can see that I was in the Adobe Community at "https://community.adobe.com/" when I posted my question.  I wasn't in the correct place...?

correct. the community forum is for questions about adobe's forums.  your post should be in the acrobat or acrobat sign forum.  which are you using?
