Question

Individual file names within portfolio showing different names when opened individually

I'm working with a portfolio (originally created in BlueBeam) that has multiple files in it. Each file within the list is showing a specific name - this is the name I want shown - but when i click on the file, or open it, a new name shows. How do I remove that new name?

Important detail: there are seals and signatures on these documents, so they might not be able to be changed.

What do you see when you save the extracted document?

When I choose "extract from portfolio" the document shows the correct file name (the "1800..." one)

Acrobat shows the file names in the portfolio. It has to be a BlueBeam feature, perhaps named after the project name or number. Check your BlueBeam preferences.

Unfortunatley, that didn't work. I changed it first to Document Title and then back to "File Name" and both still show that old name at the top

May be that Acrobat displays the document title and not the file name.
