Question

Internal links Excel don't work in PDF

Whenever I export an Excel file with interal links in it, the links won't work in de PDF.
The external links do work.

I tried everything that I could find on the Internet about this topic, but it still doesn't work.
It's a problem that occured since using Excel 365. Before I used Excel 2010, and that worked flawless.
So what has changed?
And how can I make it work?

Hi visual_photographer0494,

Thank you for reaching out.

When converting an Excel file to PDF, please ensure you have enabled the option "Add links" in the preferences. Please use the steps as mentioned below.

- In MS Excel, click on the Acrobat ribbon.

- Click on Preferences.

- In the Preferences window, mark the box for Add links under the Settings tab > Application settings.

- Then click on the OK button to save changes.

- Now, create a PDF using the Acrobat ribbon.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi Negi

I tried that already. I set the preferences in Adobe Acrobat itself as well on the Adobe preferences in Excel on "Add links".
Sometimes the links appear, but then they are shifted. And I use it at work for an index of a spare parts list, so it is not nice when the links refer to the wrong page.
