Is it possible to split pdfs into files larger than 50mb when using the built in tools?

In the Organize Pages tab of the tools I can spilt pdfs by file size but all files created are capped at 50mbs. I want to know if there is a work around for that limit or if it can be done by a custom spilt tool and if so, how?

Hi Charles,

Hope you are doing well.

As asked, splitting a pdf into files by its files size and the files created are capped to 50MB max. This depends on how exactly you have been using the Organize Tool.

Are you working with our Adobe Acrobat DC desktop application or Acrobat Online services https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/

Let us know the exact process you follow. Also, the current size of the PDF file you are working with.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hello,

I have the same issue. For my organisation it is crucial to be able to split large pdf-files (sometimes up to 700mb) into multiple parts of max. 100mb each. The 50mb limitation makes it a lot more difficult. Is there an option to divide the pdf's into 100mb files?
