Issue with Adobe 2020 converting number to 1.#r

Adobe currently in certain fields is converting the number to the attached image (1.#r). IF I click the field it goes back to a number.

Is there a way to change or make it show as the number 100% of the time? (instead of 1.#r)

Adobe acrobat 2020.05.30574

I cant attach many images as it's private information.

This means there's an invalid script being used to format the field's value. If you can't share the file, at least share the code you're using to do that.

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

The file in question was emailed from the bank to us. We dont do anything extra with the file (coding for example).

Is there a way a way to find out if it was coded in a specific manner?

All the information is supposed to be static (no formula's or dynamic changes are made). Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding!

Just to follow up. That image, shows as default, once it's clicked it changes to the number that SHOULD be appearing. (once you click away it goes back to that).
