Issues Deleting Pages in Acrobat after Combining Multiple PDF files into One File

Just this week I began having issues with deleting pages from a combined PDF created from multiple stand-alone documents.  I keep getting errors that say "An incorrect structure was found in the PDF file" or "there is a problem reading this document (15)".

I have never had this issue before.  I tried several work arounds, deleting single pages, extracting individual pages, replacing those pages, etc.  Nothing worked.

My IT Department has nothing else to offer in the way of trying to overcome this issue.

Any suggestions?

This is only a guess, but try saving as PDF/X-4, this may clear out the issue. I also found this:

You could try to run an Acrobat preflight profile- Tools> Print Production> Preflight> click the Analyze & fix button at the bottom right corner of the window. Apply it to the combined pdf, before deleting pages.

Luke - Thank you for your help.  The info I found at the link you provided turned out to be the solution....for some reason, my documents are ending up with tags in them since the last update.  I advised my IT depart of the "fix" and I am guessing they are saving it for future calls from employees receiving the same errors.

I intend to hang onto your tip about the tagging structions as a resource should the issue continue.
