Keyboard and mouse not working after installing Acrobat Pro DC

My Windows 10 PC stops communicating with keyboard and mouse after installing Acrobat Pro DC. I have to shut down Windows with the power button and use safe mode to reset to a previous system state to make keyboard and mouse work again. I have tried three times. What can I do?

Hello Andersb,

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, the keyboard is not working with Windows 10 after installing Acrobat Pro DC, is that correct?

Please check with any other keyboard and see if this issue is reproducible. Also, check for any pending updates of Acrobat from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing any updates and see if this brings any difference.

If you experience the issue again, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove Acrobat Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install Acrobat back from Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC | Non-subscription

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
