I know you can set the default initial view for any document after that document is open, and you can set default page views (e.g., one page, two page) for all documents, but how do you set the Show Cover Page in Two Page View the default initial view for all documents?

Correct answer Amal.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

In Acrobat, you can set the default page layout (like Single Page, Two Page View, etc.) for all documents through the preferences. However, the “Show Cover Page in Two Page View” option is a document-specific setting and cannot be applied globally as a default for all documents at this time.

1. Global two-page view setting:
Go to Preferences (Ctrl,Cmd+K) > Page Display and under "Default Layout and Zoom", choose Two up.

2. Show cover page separately:
This setting (View > Page Display >  Two Page View) needs to be enabled per document after opening, as it’s not part of the global defaults.

Thanks, Amal.
I hope it's added to the user-defined prefs at some point soon!
