Markierung springt

Question

Liebe Adobe community,

Leider habe ich gerade öfter in pdfs das Problem, dass wenn ich eine Zeile markieren möchte ein Teil in der Mitte nicht markiert wird, stattdessen wird automatisch zb die zeile darunte oder gleich ein Absatz mit markiert.

Wenn ich dann die Stelle herausfinde ab der es springt und nur bis dahin markiere, und erst erneut den anderen Teil funktioniert es.

Solange bis es wieder zu einem Punkt kommt an dem es springt.

Die Dokumente sind definitiv Text also ebook etc.

Und dass es nicht als Text erkannt wird kann ja nicht sein da ich es ja trotzdem im nächsten Schritt auswählen kann 😮

Is it possible for you to share a video recording of this behavior for better understanding?

There's likely a chance that the document you are working with doesn't contain the real text. It's a scanned file. So the highlighting doesn't have symmetry.

Meanwhile, try these steps to see if it makes the performance any better:

1- Open Acrobat/Reader> help>check for an update

Navigate to Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected View" and "Enhanced Security">OK>close and reopen Acrobat.

Note: these changes are only for testing purposes. Once tested, please change it back to the previous setting.
