Missing "Make OCR text visible" profile in preflight

Hi.

I'm trying to create a PDF file that has a separate layer of OCR text. I'm following steps posted here: https://blogs.adobe.com/documentcloud/hidden-gems-in-acrobat-dc-how-to-optimize-hidden-ocr-text/

But when I get to step 4, I'm not seeing a "Make OCR text visible" profile. I've looked in the Essential, PDF Standards, and Prepress, Color, and Transparency libraries.

Any thoughts?

When you bring up the Preflight tool, you need to switch to the "Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Profiles" category:

Once you've done that, you can search for e.g. "OCR" to find the profile you are looking for:

Once selected, you can click on the "Analyze and fix" button to execute it.

Thanks Karl.

Unfortunately, I don't have that option from the pull down. Just Essential, PDF Standards, or Prepress...

That's why I was hoping to find the 2015 profiles as a way to import the library with that OCR profile

Any clue? I haven't been able to find a link to the 2015 profiles.

Thanks Bernd for your reply.

I only just started using Acrobat Pro DC this year (2017). So I'm not seeing this profile on my Mac. Do you know where I might be able to download this library?

It is above Essential.
