My Word Documents Are All PDFs Now - Help!

Hi All,

Lately, I've encountered an issue with my Microsoft Word documents. All of them have been automatically converted and saved as PDFs.

Here's what I observed:

Uninstalling Adobe Acrobat seemed to resolve the problem, and the documents returned to their original format (.docx).
However, upon reinstalling Adobe, my Word documents were again converted to PDFs.

This leads me to suspect a potential issue with the latest version of Adobe.

Does anyone have any thoughts, insights, or suggestions on why this might be happening?

They are not "converted and saved" as PDF, it's only their icon that has changed.

Once you have installed Acrobat select any DOCX file, right-clic, go to "Properties", set Word as their default application and clic "Apply".
