Question

No default font in form text field

How can I set a form text firld to have no default font?

I want the user to choose the font. Setting rich text only allows a change to font style, but not the font itself.

Hi @DavetheSkiPatroller

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Can you please share your snapshot of the rich text formatting toolbar for further debugging issue at your end.

Thanks,

They can change the font with Rich Text Formatting by pressing Ctrl + e, when in the field, to open the RTF toolbar.

Does not work for me. Rich text only allows style change (underline, bold, italic) NOT font. Ctrl-e does nothing. right click allows the style change.

After pressing Ctrl + e (while the cursor is in the field that is formatted for RTF):

Ctrl-e does nothing

Use CMD-e on a Mac

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

It is not possible to create a form text field without a default font because a base font must be defined to ensure the field's text is displayed consistently across platforms and devices. However, if you want to provide users with the flexibility to customize the font, you can enable Rich Text Formatting for the text field. This feature allows users to modify the font type, size, style (e.g., bold, italic), and other text properties directly within the form, enhancing personalization and usability.

Hope this information will help .
