Hi,
I have created an interactive presentation for an iPad in InDesign. A button should make three invisible layers visible and a second close button should make them invisible again. It's quite complicated in InDesign but it works. But then you ask yourself why all the effort if you have to edit it again for a PDF in Acrobat. And you might think that InDesign and Acrobat were developed by two completely different companies. They are two different worlds. Since I just couldn't figure it out, I asked Perplexity.
Perplexity has written a step-by-step guide for me. Under point 6 it says: “The ‘Set layer visibility’ window opens. Here you can see all available layers.” Unfortunately, no layers are displayed in this window. But all available layers are listed in Acrobat on the right side. And I guess this is where the error is. I am not offered any layers at the crucial point. What could be the reason?
