OCR partially not working

I'm using my Adobe Online web app to extract text from a PDF...When I open the file for editing, only about half the text seems to get OCRed, and with auto-OCR I cant explicitly OCR the remaing text areas...

Anyone know how to coax Acrobat into better OCRing obvious text? I attached a small example where you can see where I could highlight some text at the top and bottom but text in the middle get skipped.
