opening documents in the same window / tab Adobe reader XI

Adobe Reader XI,

Windows 10 Pro.

All documents I am opening are in the new windows, I would like to open documents in the same window...(as it was in previous versions)...were I can do it? I can not find that option

"no matter if this option is on or off... all documents open in separate window"

PDF documents can embed a script that overwrite this Preference setting.
