Pasting a Directory Path into Acrobat XI Advanced Search Browse for Location

How does one paste a directory path into Advanced Search, All PDF Documents, Browse for Location in Acrobat XI? I often do searches in directory paths that are very long. I hate that I have to navigate and find the directory path each time instead of just being able to paste the directory path since I have my File Manager open. Acrobat XI seems to be the only modern application that doesn't allow one to paste a directory path into the Browse window.

That's nice to hear, thanks!

And yes, that makes sense it doesn't accept it with the quotes. Good catch!

Works just fine for me... I select "Browse for location" and then paste the full path into the Folder field and press Enter and it uses that folder.

Always good to hear from you try67 (you've given me great help for more than 8 years now).

I think I figured out the problem. When I copy the path from File Manager (by hitting Shift, Copy as Path), it includes quotes in the path. When I paste that, with the quote, Acrobat doesn't like it and changes it. If I remove the quotes, it works better, even if the path has spaces. So that's key, remember to remove the quotes after pasting the directory path into Acrobat.
