Hello I know this problem is from past.
I know I need insert JavaScript action app.launchURL("https://yourlink.com", true);

But it's not working on all browsers.
My Client demand this and I cannot do anything in InDesign or Acrobat 😞

This is very sad because this issue is very old and a lot of people demand this feature.

If anyone know tool or which code in JavaScript Action will work in any browser please share with me this knowladge.  Even ChatGPT-4 in Edge don't know solution 😄

Best,
Vladimir

You can't do it, since most browser PDF plugins don't support scripts at all, or a very minimal subset.

No in browser if you open browser file in browser Ctrl + R click open in new tab in browser clicked link in PDF. You can modify in Acrobat/File/Settings how open hyperlinks 😉

No I am talking about browser. If you open PDF file in browser Ctrl + R click makes to open in new tab hyperlinks.  You can modify in Acrobat/File/Settings how open hyperlinks through Acrobat Reader. But I am talking here about how force browser to open hyperlinks in new tab from opened PDF in browser. lol It's to complicated I dont't know how properly ask question 😉
