PDF not working on website

I created a fillable PDF with buttons in Adobe Acrobat Pro.  I changed the tab order for the form before saving it. When I uploaded it to my website, there are several issues.  The tab order is completely off, the upload document button doesn't do anything, and the submit form (via email) doesn't work.  Here is the website. https://stmarysgi.com/about-us/job-openings/  It is the Online Application link. I'm new to Adobe and this is my first form. I've read so many articles, but none address this.  What am I missing? How can I fix this? Thank you.

The easiest way is to place your form in a PDF Portfolio.
Otherwise you can use these great tips (copy-paste the URLs in Google Translate if you can't read French):

I Download PDF From adobe but is not upload in my RTPS Bihar website there are several issu i fix these issu from this simple method So Apply these Points.

    1. Fixing the Tab Order Issue

If the tab order is incorrect after uploading, follow these steps:

    Manually Set the Tab Order:

    • Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
    • Click on Prepare Form (Tools → Prepare Form).
    • Ensure "Order Tabs by Structure" is disabled.
    • Manually arrange fields by dragging them in the Fields Panel.
    • Save and re-upload the file.

    Check Field Names:

    • Ensure all fields have unique names; duplicate names can cause tab order issues.

    2. Fixing the Upload Document Button

The upload document button may not work online because browsers don’t support file uploads in PDFs.

    Alternative Solutions:

    • Instead of a button inside the PDF, create a separate file upload section on your website.
    • Use an HTML form with an upload option to collect documents separately.

    3. Fixing the Submit Form (via Email) Button

The email submission button may not work due to security restrictions in browsers.

    Try a Different Submission Method:

    • Go to Prepare Form → Button Properties.

    • Under Action, set it to Submit a Form.

    • Use a mailto: email address, like this:

      graphql
      CopyEdit
      mailto:your-email@Example.com?subject=Form Submission

    Alternative Option:

    • Convert the form submission to a web-based form using Google Forms or JotForm.

    4. Uploading the Correct Version

Ensure you are uploading the latest version of the PDF after making changes.

    Clear Website Cache:

    • If changes aren’t visible, clear your browser’s cache or try in incognito mode.

    Check PDF Settings:

    • Ensure the PDF is not restricted (go to File → Properties → Security).

    Final Recommendation

If your form requires complex interactions, consider using a web-based form instead of a fillable PDF. Many users face browser limitations when filling out PDFs online.

There's nothing you can do about it, since many browsers display PDF files using their own PDF viewers, and those viewers are usually pretty bad, especially when it comes to form fields and scripts.

The best option is to instruct the users not to open the file in their browser but to download it and then open it using Adobe Reader.
