Question

PDFs combine to portfolio and error message I can't clear

Hello!  I have two issues and I noticed the error message the same time I STOPPED being able to combine files to one PDF.  I have always been able to do it.  Now it is not working.  I have tried many different ways.  I normally right click and select the combine.  When I do do this and this is the same with the other ways (which FYI is when the screen is open, I clicked on the create button), I put my files in order, I hit combine, and then a divided screen pops up.  To the left the files I have chosen for my combined PDF and to the right, the first page of the file.  I hit combine.  I save it.  The screen shot highlighted shows portfolio and it also shows a spinning symbol.  I have tried clicking on each file to the left, when that split screen comes up, I have tried printing them to a new file.  Nothing I do works.

The 2nd thing is that error message at the top.  When I open it, there are 3 errors, but I can't figure out how to clear them.

Thank you!

    Hi ibecassie,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Please let us know if you are trying to combine PDF to portfolio or combining files into a single file. In the screenshot, we can see there is a portfolio you mentioned and an error appearing.

Could you please confirm if this happens every time you try to combine the files? Or with particular files?

It would be helpful if you could share a screen recording of the complete steps you take. Also, share sample files if the issue still occurs. We will get the files checked.

Share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
