Please help! Suddenly form fields are not working. Can't be moved or resized.

All of a sudden, my acrobat pro is acting like the free version. I can no longer edit the size of form field boxes, or move them, or change fonts. Also, when selecting a form field to place, it automatically selects multiple copies so I can't just place one box and move on. Also, when I open a prior existing form with fillable fields, adobe doesn't recognize the field boxes or allow me to edit them, so I have to hit "prepare form" and start over from scratch. Form creation is the only reason I went with the pro version.
