Printing Issues 2012 R2 RDP / Terminal Servers
Hello,
I have an issue with printing Adobe documents from a 2012 R2 Remote desktop / Terminal server environment. Various makes and models of printers are affected - Typically the error message is as follows:

The issue occurs with Adobe Reader DC as well as Adobe Acrobat XI pro. Both Adobe products are running the latest versions and the server is fully updated with Windows updates.
So far we have tried:
- Adobe program repair via programs and features
- Print as image work around
- Syntax scan & fix (asking user to try this now, awaiting response)
- Updating Print Drivers
- Changing print processor to winprint
- Deleting the acrobat preferences folder
- Restarting Print queue / Spooler service
So far none of this troubleshooting has been helpful and the issue persists.
Can anyone provide some additional troubleshooting steps for this issue?
