Problem printing correct size labels on thermal printer

Hello,

I have an issue with printing shipping labels on the thermal DYMO 4XL  printer. The PDF file provided could be printed out on a laser HP printer, it also could be printed on DYMO 4XL printer but in incorrect paper size, however, when changing the printing label to the correct 4 x 6 size, the printer prints out black pages and then the sign comes up: "The document could be printed", and after I click OK, on another sign comes up "An error occurred while printing the document"  Please see attached screenshots. 

I was able to print out the shipping labels in the correct 4x6 size before without any issues, but something has changed. 

Does anyone know how to fix the issue?

Hi Adobe, I am having a possibly related problem. Trying to print labels on a Zebra therma printer from Shopify. The print labels app in Shopify creates a pdf for printing. The pdf looks ok in that the page (label) size is right, but when I press the print button, it changes the pages size to double height. I change the dimensions in settings from the "print using system dialog"  (51mm wide x 25mm high) but it seems to revert back to 2.2 inches x 2 inches every time. What's going on? Scott

Hi, 

Sorry for the delayed response and for the troubled experience. 
The printer drive usually provides the page details to the app and hence the app works accordingly. It seems you need to check with the Printer manufacturer to check if their driver are compatible with the app. 

Also, if you open the PDF file using any third-party app like Microsoft Edge or Google-Chrome to Print the file, check if the printing is going fine

Browsers like Edge or Chrome, on the other hand, simplify PDF processing by focusing on quick rendering rather than full compliance with PDF standards. This is why they can sometimes handle problematic files for basic tasks like printing, even when Acrobat Pro identifies the underlying issues.
