Problems with email notifications for shared PDF links

Hello,

I've been having probems with the email notivications from Acrobat that I receive for shared PDF links for the past few days. Sometimes, the comments are no longer displayed in the email preview. In some cases, the subject is in Norwegian (?), even though that's not my language setting (and I'm not in Norway). However, this doesn't happen with every email, but sometimes both issues occur together.

I haven't manually changed any settings. Another colleague has had the same problem for the past few weeks. Other colleagues haven't been affected so far.

Does anyone know, if there's a bug in Acrobat or if I need to adjust something in my settings?

    Please let us know if the issue occurs with the PDFs you have shared or the PDF shared with you.

    Could you please share the screenshot of how the notifications generally appear and what changes?

    Share the Acrobat and OS version numbers on the machine. Let us know if you are using the application on a work machine or a personal machine.

    Hi Meenakshi,

    thanks for the quick reply. The issues occur with PDFs I have shared and PDFs shared with me.

    I attached the screenshots of the notifications (normale, language subject, missing preview, language subject + missing preview).

    So generally the subject appears in english or german (also don't know, why it's sometimes the one and other times the other - but both work for me). And in general there is a short preview of the comment in the email notification.

     

    I'm using a work machine with Acrobat Version 25.1 and Windows 11 Enterprise, Version 24H2.

    We are experiencing a similar problem, email comment notifications without any comment preview. We don't have the language issue. This happens when commenting in Acrobat (Reader and Pro) on Mac, PC desktop, and in a browser.
