Question

Protect PDF with only print and commenting alllowed

Dear all,

 

We used to create protect PDFs by allowing Pirnt and Commenting using Acrobat 9 Pro but for some reasons it is not working as expected in the recent days. Anyone come across this issue?

 

Expected output:

 

Also, we are getting error mesage saying 'You dont have permission to write to this file'. We dont see this before. Verfied disk space and permission but no luck. Any suggestion to overcome?

Dear experts,

 

Thanks for the responses. I tried in Acrobat DC, things are working fine as expected. We have rasied a case to Adobe on this regard.

I noticed your compatibility is set to Acrobat 7.0 and later.  In my instance of Acrobat ProDC, the default here is Acrobat X and later.  What version are you using for this?  You mentioned version 9.  This release would be several versions old, and likely would not perform predictably in a more modern operating system.  Whatever details you can provide about your OS, and Acrobat version can help troubleshoot.
