Protected Mode in Appcontainer greyed out depsite it being set by group policy

Hello,

I've set some group policies up to enforce protected view from unsafe locations, protected mode, enhanced security and run in app container, but in the preferences the 'run in appcontainer' setting is unchecked eventhough i've set the registry key found in the reference guide in appcontainer section: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Windows/index.html

Is there a way of checking if appcontainer is active or have I dont something incorrectly to cause this?
