"An Internal Error Occured" Windows 10

I am using Windows 10 and starting yesterday when hovering over the Edit tab I get eight pop-ups "Adobe Acrobat, An Internal Error Occurred." When those pop-ups are cleared the drop-down menu appears, but will not work. The same thing happens when you close and re-open and hover over the View tab, but there are four pop-ups "Adobe Acrobat, An Internal Error Occurred." When those pop-ups are cleared the drop-down menu appears, but will not work. This happens whether a document is open or not.

I have removed the program and re-installed the updated version. I have tried Repair Installation. None of this has helped or changed responses.

I ended up having to uninstall all programs that were associated with Adobe in any way, then begin re-installment of all programs to solve the issue.

This is part of a larger bug, which still isn't fixed. Adobe, please give an update on progress?

I have a fairly new computer, running Windows 10 (64 bit). In two separate attempts to fix another quirk with Acrobat Pro DC, after I correctly uninstalled and reinstalled it, I opened the program to a black screen and 2 seconds later a pop up "Internal Error Occured" which I needed to rapidly click to make it go away. After numerious attempts to uninstall and reinstall, including Adobe Create Cloud' after the last uninstall, I ran a Find in the RegEdit for everything 'Adobe' and 'Creative Cloud' - which is a through unistall but I wouldn't recommend to do this unless you understand RegEdit. End result, so far the program is functioning but my original issue "Printing in Grayscale still prints in color" has not gone away (I posted another thread for this).

I truly feel, that over time, Acrobat screws with the registry and functionality of my Windows computer to the point I need to do a Clean Windows reinstall. Now having a computer only months old, its already being a b*t*h in my world.

Unfortunately, sometimes that is the only way to kick things back into gear.

If a simple repair does not help, and neither does a reinstallation of the application, I use the Adobe Cleaner: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html - this will remove anything that is related to Acrobat. If this still does not fix the problem, you are very likely dealing with some incompatibility between Acrobat and the reset of your operating system, and I would recommend to get in touch with Adobe's support.
