I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.
Are you still experiencing the issue with the latest version of Acrobat Reader? Please check for any pending updates by navigating to Menu > Check for Updates, install any available updates, and restart your device. Is it with one specific PDF or with all the PDFs?
Try opening a different PDF to see if the error message persists.
For testing purposes, please disable Enhanced Security in the app's preferences:
- Go to Menu > Preferences > Security
- Uncheck "Enable Enhanced Security" and "Enable Protected Mode at Startup"
- Click OK, restart the app, and check if the issue remains
After testing, please re-enable the security settings for protection.
