"Microsoft Store app" - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Outdated.

Need to Install Adobe Reader DC. The version in Microsoft store is Outdated. Currently released version on February. Can this be updated to the latest.

 

01. When the MS store app is updated will it update the already installed Apps.

02. What is the Frequency the Store App is Updated?

Thanks for posting your issue to Adobe.  Adobe Reader app on MS store has been updated to last security update (i.e Sep 10 , 24.003.20112) and the normal cadence is to keep the app updated to the latest security update.

This is no longer the case and the latest version as of July 2025 is Dec 2024 on the App Store.

Although we have policies in place to auto update to latest within our Microsoft Company Portal (via Intune), we shouldn't have to update an Adobe released software by 8mths.

    Why do you need to use MS Store app to install it? Just get it directly from Adobe:

    https://get.adobe.com/reader/

    Hi Try67, Thanks for the Reply.

    We want to Give the Users the ability to choose the installation, afterwards to Automatically Update unto the latest version. 

    We would publish this on Company Portal where they will pick & Install.

      We have exactly the same use case, we provide and update it through Company Portal.

      Using the store app is way easier to provide apps through Company Portal, that's the reason we use MS Store apps.

       

      So I hope anybody can answer the questions from @Dilan38423056feuv
