Dear community,
when trying to convert .pptx files to .pdf via the Windows Explorer (right click, convert to pdf), I get a "server busy" warning (This action cannot be completed...). After waiting a little and selecting "switch to", the pdf file is created without further problems. When alternatively opening Power Point and selecting "Save as Adobe PDF", everything works just fine.
I have tried the solutions suggested on this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/de/lightroom-classic/kb/server-busy-error.html Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem.
I am using the latest version of Acrobat Pro on Windows 11 Professional on a Lenovo T14s.
Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
Thank you!

Hi
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
Have you started facing this issue recently?
Is this happening with all pptx files?
Do you also face similar issue with word or excel files?
Thanks

Hi Tanvi,
the issue started some time last week (before updating to Acrobat Ver. 23.001.20064.0). From what I can recall, the only major change was an update of the Intel Arc Iris driver to version 31.0.101.4146 via the Intel updater tool. Interestingly, I had the same issue on my older Lenovo T14s running on Windows 10.
The issue only appears when the file is sufficiently large (2 Mb is large enough).
I have checked some Word files. Indeed, I have the same issue with these files.
Thanks for your help!
Best wishes

Hi Dom
I tried with your shared file. Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce that error with that file. However, I will add it in our bug database and it will be prioritized based on other items in the backlog. In case, you come across any other condition which will help us reproduce the issue, please let us know.
Thanks
Tanvi

One of our users is getting this error too and I have been unable to resolve it. Tried full reinstallation and no joy so far.

FWIW I am experiencing the same issue when converting any MS Office document to PDF via the Explorer context menu. Conversions from within Word, Excel, Outlook etc do not have these problems.
In my case I am saving the documents onto my C drive, into my OneDrive folder. The "server" is not even a remote server's shared folder! I am wondering if Adobe Acrobat/Distiller has issues interacting with OneDrive?

Update: The error has disappeared with the new current Intel/Adobe/Windows 11 updates.
