Random line breaks when pasting text to "add text comment" box

Hi,I need to paste short text comments to technical drawings in pdf's. When I copy a text portion with ctrl+c from a Word document, such as "abc", and paste it in the "add text comment" box in Adobe Acrobat Reader using ctrl+v, the text sometimes appears as "abc" (which it always should) and sometimes as"abc".In the latter case, I have to redo the procedure. It seems that the position of the text box might influence the behavior. And no, I do not paste close to the right end of the document.Does anyone know how this behavior can be prevented?

This issue may occur due to the way text formatting and line breaks are handled when copying from Word to Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Please try a few suggestions below and see if that works for you:

1. Paste Without Formatting: Instead of using Ctrl + V, try pasting the text as plain text by using Ctrl + Shift + V or right-clicking and selecting Paste without formatting (if available). To remove any hidden formatting from the copied text.

2. Use Notepad as an Intermediary: Copy the text from Word, paste it into Notepad (which strips formatting), and then copy from Notepad into Acrobat Reader and check.

3. Update Acrobat Reader: Make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader 24.05.20320 from the help > check for updates and reboot the computer once.
