I'm no longer allowed to combine PDF's because error message appears that I need to install flash player. I paid over $500 for my adobe long term and have never had this problem until now. There is no support on the Adobe sites. I need direction on how to solve this.

Correct answer JR Boulay

Acrobat XI (and Acrobat 9 & X) requires Flash Player for creating PDF Portfolios.

Flash Player is no longer supported and stopped working 2 years ago, and older versions of Acrobat will never be updated.

So the solution is to not using PDF Portfolios or upgrade to Acrobat DC.

Don't combine the files as a portfolio.

I figured how to get around the error - instead of using "Create/Combine Files" in Adobe Acorbat XI. Instead Open the Page Thumbnails on the upper left of the document then right click andselect "insert" then browse to the document you need to add.
