"Reader spread" is a term used to describe the page order for us humans to read. You can have for example document page one on it's own, than document pages two and three on one sheet (or the page that is shown in Acrobat or any other PDF viewer). The "printer spread" is when these pages are arranged so that they can be printed and - after sorting and folding - create e.g. a booklet: you would for example have the first document page and the last document page on the same sheet, because when that sheet is folder, it would create the front and back cover.

Let me repeat TSN's question: How did you create the file? You need to go back to the original document and export it as a PDF with single pages.

Better to make it again as single pages. How did you make it as spreads?

What do they mean by "spread file"? Are they talking about the dimensions of the pages?
