Save a redacted file as a TIFF

For years I have been doing the following, but am moving to a new computer and am unable to replicate the process on the new one. The old computer is running Windows 10 and the new one Windows 11. Both are running Acrobat 23.0.

  1. Right click on a TIFF file in Windows Explorer and choose Convert to Adobe PDF
  2. In Acrobat perform redaction to page and click Apply and then Continue
  3. When prompted to save file, change Save as Type from PDF to TIFF

When I get to this last step there are no other options besides Adobe PDF when I click on Save as Type. I don't recall having to change a specific setting in Acrobat to be able to do this. I know I can then open the redacted PDF and then save as TIFF but I'd like to avoid having to do those extra steps sinceI never had to before.

Any help is appreciated!

Ok so I just figured it out myself. I forgot to turn off the Sanitize rest of document option. Once that is off I can save as a TIFF file.
