Save Single Page of Large PDF as JPEG

I'm trying to make an easy-to-use-and-edit template for non tech-savvy use. I made the template in InDesign and output to PDF so that text and images can be edited. My assumption was that the user would be able to output 1 single page of this PDF as JPEG. However, when I go to File > Save As and change the file type to JPEG, there's no place for page range. When I try Export PDF > Image > JPEG, there is no page range option.

Is the only solution for the user to save the file separately, edit the page they need, select Organize Pages, delete all other pages, and then save as JPEG?

You can also extract that one page to a temporary file, save it as an image and then close it (without saving). This entire process can be done using a script, so it would only take one click to run it, once installed.

I'll have to look into this. I haven't used Javascript in Acrobat since it was referred to as AcroJS. If you have any resources to suggest, that would be awesome.

Just a quick check: will all of these non-tech users have their own subscription to Acrobat Pro?

Yes, the company provides CC licenses to whoever requests.

In so many years Adobe still hasn't been able to give the option to choose one or more specific pages to export as an image. Thank God we are paying them monthly for such a user experience.

What I did was extract the page that I wanted and export as image. It`s not ideal but it is a solution to save one page from a pdf with many pages.
