Question

Selecting multiple pages is challenging with the new version

I scan large quantities of pages. It's easier to scan the entire document, including the front and back, in one scan which leads to many blank pages that must then be deleted. I will also need to extract some of the pages to a seperate docunent by itself. This new version has made this incredibly challenging, less effecient, and time consuming. It's inevitable that I have to highlight.....and rehiglight.....and rehighlight.....and rehighlight the same group of pages because the highlighted pages unhighlight. It's also inevitable that the very first page I highlight is RARELY a part of the export or highlight for reasons that are unknown to me since it is clearly highlighted. Going through and clicking.....every....every.....single.....checkbox..... on.....a.....page.....in......order......to.....highlight/select......a......page......to......delete.....will.....NEVER..... happen.....because ....many..... times......I'm.....selecting.....50+.....pages......in...... each......scan. This new version is absolutely horrible.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20857 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also go through the help page (https://adobe.ly/4bqwrPR) and see if that works.

It's with any and all PDF's. All my files are on the cloud and/or our network. I saved one to my local drive and PDFs are doing the same thing. I'm on the latest version of Acrobat. Used to be called Standard but it's not called anything anymore.

Here's a video of what's going on.

Hi @Sirk7778,

Sorry for the delayed response. The issue is not reproducible at our end. I tried this issue with multiple files, and it works fine.

Can you share the file with us or a sample document that exhibits the same behavior on your end? Also share the name of the application and version of the app installed on your machine.
