Hi, I am needing to send a PDF to a print house, and it needs to show the trim marks on the PDF.
However, When i try to apply the trim marks, i press "ok" and then nothing happens. I tried to preview it, and print it and nothing shows???
Attached are some photos. Is there a step I am missing??

If your PDF has bleed, trim marks are not really necessary. Generally, trim marks are added when the PDF is created, if you want to add them in Acrobat, it's a two step process, first, use the Add Printer Marks tool under the Print Production tools, then you will need to add extra room around your PDF so you can see the marks, use the Set Page Box tool to make a custom size (e.g. add an inch to your PDF size). Now you should see the crop marks. Changing the crop box size should not change the final trim size, as indicated by your crop marks.

Hi Ashleigh,

I have spent hours trying to find the same answer and that is how I found your question.

I did figure it out though and what you've done is correct but you ALSO have to go into

Preferences/Page Display

about 1/2 way down under 'Page content and information' you have to tick the box next to 'Show art, trim, & bleed boxes'.

I would think that's was a given seeing as in print production you've asked it to do just that!

Hope it helps you.
