Shortcut for signing documents using a certificate

Howdy,

I'd like to create a shortcut for signing a document using a certificate. As of right now, this is not possible.

Can anyone explain to me why this isn't possible in a program costing 250 dollars per year? Is this a joke?

There are shortcuts for some of the most useless tools, but the ones that you really need shortcuts for instead of doing 10 clicks are missing. What a joke. Please implement this asap.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please add the digital signature option to the quick tool bar and see if that works for you:

1. Open Acrobat  and click on the three dots in the quick tool bar on the left

2. Click on 'Customize Toolbar'

3. Scroll down the list and click on 'Use a certificate'

4. Select 'Digital Sign' and click on the Add to toolbar icon and click 'Save'

As shown in the attached screenshot:

Hope this will help

This is a premium only option? To customize the toolbar?

Hi there

What happens when you try to follow the above steps, do you get any difficulty? Please share a small video recording of the same for more clarity.

Customizing the toolbar is a premium-only option.

Clicking on the three dots on the tool bar only gives the option to reset the position of the bar, no customization... I cannot give you a video as the system I'm on is classified.

Hi there

Is this an IT managed, work computer? If yes, please reach-out to the IT admin at your end and see if that works.

You may also try to remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Hi there

The option to customize tool bar is available in Acorbat Pro and not in Acrobat Reader desktop application.
