Submit button on a PDF not opening Outlook

Question

We have a form on our intranet that users can fill out and click on submit to email it to the appropriate people. After clicking on submit, it should populate a Outlook new email screen but it only works on IE and not responsive on Chrome, Firefox, or Edge, issue has been ongoing for a while and would like the flexibility for users to have the baility to use any of the browsers, thank you for your help

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thank you for reaching out. As described the submit button is not working in the web browsers.

Web browsers use their own PDF mechanism to render and display the PDF contents and they are not Adobe dependant also they are not good in handling the interactive PDF forms. Please download the PDF form the computer locally and open it with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (Freeware application) and check.
