I create playbooks used worldwide for our company. A user clicks a "Submit" button and form is sent using https. Before this happens, Acrobat Reader DC or Professional DC will write an XML file. 99.9% submit successfully and any that produce XML error, seems to be special characters in text fields.
This one occured today from European, African, and Middle Eastern Region (EAMER) and isolated to a special character above both lower and upper casr "C", all other special chracters accepted.
"A. Mickevičiaus g. 165 Čekoniškių km. Vilniaus raj."
After replacing both "C"s with no carrot "A. Mickeviciaus g. 165 Cekoniškių km. Vilniaus raj." it submitted without any XML error.
I had the same issue with Asia, Pacific, RIM (APR) where the XML error was due to using the degree symbol. After removing this symbol, iy submitted without error.
Is there a list of illegal symbols when parsing to XML or is there a checkbox or preference setting that would allow file to proceed to submit?
