Touch Screen Scrolling with ONE Finger

I have a touch screen and until yesterday was able to scroll using one finger. Now I can't. I can only scroll using two fingers. I've searched for answers and keep getting directed to using a touch pad.

When I try to use one finger, I end up "drawing" a box filled in with blue.

HELP!

Thans!

Hi! I would add that if you want to skip having to right click every time you open a document you can enable Touch Mode to "Always" via the preferences with the following steps:

  1. Click "Menu."
  2. Click "Preferences."
  3. Click "General" from the "Categories" pane on the left.
  4. Under the "Basic Tools" section is a drop-down menu entitled, "Touch Mode."  Mine was on "Auto-Detect"
  5. Click the drop-down menu and select "Always."

I realize this is nearly a year later, but your answer came up when I Googled the same problem I was having with my touch-screen PC.  If you didn't already know it, I hope it helps!

You have saved what is left of my hair, now works a treat.

We'll need some more information to help.

What is your touch screen and computer model and specs?

What is your OS?

Is this only happening in acrobat?

Did you have any recent updates?

Be detailed, the more information you can give us the more we can help you out.

I have a Microsoft Surface 4 computer with Windows 10. There have been no recent updates. And I guess I didn't specify that it's happening in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I use and access .pdfs all the time and it just started yesterday.

Thanks!

Thanks fo the response! To clarify on my question above, is this only in acrobat, or all programs?
