Question

Unable to print PDF in grayscale

I've read the other posts about this: I do not have those options. I have a simple box for grayscale on my print page. Whenever I clicked this and did Microsoft to PDF printing, it used to save it as grayscale PDF. It no longer does this when I click the box, it doesn't make any changes at all. I use Acrobat Pro Standard. Please help.

Also I hate the update. Thanks.

It is still possible to Print to a PostScript and use distiller, this requires installing a Generic Postscript printer… it is not the recommended workflow. I am  sorry I don't have a workflow that uses Acrobat Standard, but in Acrobat Pro there is a preflight action to converta a file to grayscale, choose Analyse and fix.

Search more tools find Preflight panel (Normaly under Print Production) and apply the fixup Digital Print Greyscale

Preflight is, I think, not part of Acrobat Standard.
