Just discovered that it works if there is *no* email address. In fact, if I use the following as the URL it works fine:

mailto:?subject=Estate Planning Form&body=Here is my information form.

The subject and the body pop up in my mail program (Mozilla Thunderbird), but of course the email address is blank. If I put an email address back in, I get the error message.

I'm running into the same problem with an estate planning information form I've been providing to clients for years. Since I'm using an older version of Acrobat Pro, I think it's a feature that Adobe has quietly discontinued in their drive to get everyone onto a subscription model. Even though the feature uses the pretty generic "mailto:" function, the completed form has to be saved somewhere, and I'm guessing that is what has been turned off.

Try using a gmail address instead and see if that works.

This is a form intended for use within the community .  Impractical to tell everyone to use gmail.  Besides, up until last month or so it was working for all.

Tried gmail no effect at all.  It must be some sort of a systems issue It has impacted  every form that uses submit. Some have been working for years now no longer function.  Perhaps an uninstall and reinstall??  Where can I find some sort of error log that defines the error or its cause and Gfb a solution.  Currently scouring the internet and have more people asking same question
