Uninstall old version of Acrobat first?

Do I need to uninstall older versions before installing Adobe Pro DC? I currently have Acrobat Standard XI.

it's a good idea though it's not supposed to be necessary with acrobat dc.

I would most strongly recommend that you uninstall any and all previous versions of Adobe Reader and/or Acrobat prior to installing a new version. There simply are functions (such as the Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver instance and the PDFMakers) that cannot be installed in parallel. Only the last one installed remains.

    Nein, ich habe die alte Version deinstalliert bevor ich die neue instellierte.

    Doch schon bei der Installation kam nur englisch als einzige Sprache.
