Unknown Error at preflight

Hi there,

When I attempted to preflight a particualr PDF I'm getting an "Uknown error (unknow exception)". This happens with any type of preflight, even to check the syntax issues. I've tried it on two separate computers, both with Acrobat Pro DC (version 2017.009.20044), and both came up with the same error.

When I attempted the same preflight on a 2015 version of Acrobat Pro DC it worked.

As anyone else come across this problem.

I've been able to preflight other PDFs, it's just the one that is causing issues.

Hi Courtney,

This issue was fixed in our update released yesterday. Make sure you are on the latest update by visiting Help > Check for updates (17.012.20093 Planned update, August 8, 2017 — Acrobat and Adobe Reader Release Notes).
