Use of the Program Without an Adobe Account

I have installed the latest version of Adobe Acrobat. When I launch the program, it asks for the details of an Adobe account (email address and password). Is it possible to use the program without an Adobe account? I simply need to open PDF files with the use of the program.

To use Acrobat DC you must have an account with Adobe, yes.

If you installed Adobe Acrobat, it needs a subscription - which can only be done with an Adobe account. I wonder if you meant to install the free Acrobat Reader instead of Adobe Acrobat (paid for)?

How did you purchase it without an Adobe account? Or did you buy a physical copy of the perpetual license version?

Or are you really talking about the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, not the paid-for Adobe Acrobat?

I have installed the trial Adobe Acrobat DC, which is free. Is it impossible to use the program without an Adobe account?
