Using Sticky notes; using esc key to save and close the note. How to set that up?

My last laptop had Adobe set up that when I place a sticky note and start typing, when I am done I simply hit the esc key and the text is saved and the sticky note closes.  

Just got a new computer and installed same version (Adobe Acrobat Pro DC) and I can't figure out how to make it work that way.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  When doing hundreds of comment notes (I do architectural plan review) hitting the esc key saves a ton of time.
