Is there a way to verify the validity of a perpetual license Adobe Acrobat Pro installed in a windows?

Correct answer Meenakshi Negi

Thank you for elaborating.

As you have mentioned, you are trying to check the information about the license acquired by the company.

The Adobe Expiry Check tool only works for the volume serial numbers. It is a command-line utility for IT Admins to check whether Adobe products on a computer are using serial numbers that have expired or are expiring.

For more information, you may refer to this help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/volume-license-expiration-check.html

To check what type of service plans you have, you may log in to your Adobe account using this link https://account.adobe.com/.

Sign in using your Adobe ID (email address used to purchase the plan) and password. Then go to Plans > My Plans.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

The thing is, it depends on what types of license was acquired. If the purchasers just took out a regular "retail" subscription for Creative Cloud, then this is not at all suitable for business use. It is not transferrable, is exclusively for use by the original licensee, and the company doesn't even have the right to cancel it. It may be worth looking at the outgoings; retail licenses will be separately charged too, not consolidated. The alternative is "team" and "enterprise" licenses of various types. These are transferable, and do have a named administrator (which might not be you!)

Hi Meenakshi,

My goal is to know the Adobe licenses we have acquired in the company. To check if how and what type (perpetual/subscription etc.) of licenses we currently have for future decisions in acquiring Adobe plans.
I checked this tool:  AdobeExpiryCheck tool

Do you think this could help me identify the license that running in a computer?

Appreciate your recommended solution.

Thanks,
