Hello all, trying to find the "Take a Snapshot" function with this latest update. I can find it through search but would like to have it in the left nav bar or quick tools section. Let me know if anyone has found it. Thanks!
Found it...its under the hamburger (triple bar) icon > Undo, Redo & more > Take a snapshot

Thanks for the reply but I don't see a "..." option in the new version per screenshots taken below:

It is available in the old version.

You're looking in the wrong place. It's under the Edit menu (next to File), not the toolbar.

Where is this "hamburger" (triple bar). Just got back from a long vacation to come home to updated version and can't find the "snap shot". Please help...lots to do.

Why would they do that? They keep changing it's location. Such an important tool. And they are hiding it. So annoying. Thank you so much!

Any way to pin it to a toolbar permanently? I use it a lot and it is a pain to click through several menus to grab it every time.

Any updates on pining this in the newest version? This is driving me nuts.

Adobe please fix the snapshot! I use this hundreds of times a day. What is the design philosophy at Adobe? I understand that everyone uses this product differently, but for every workflow I have this tool is now much slower and more frustrating. What is the point in changing the menus and location on something like this. It's like if Ford decided to make the steering wheel work opposite, and move the turn signal lever to the back seat. Who is making and approving these massive changes, with no apparent benefit. It's like throwing money away on redesign. Is Adobe just trying to justify the annoying subscription pricing?
I plan to start looking for an alternate product.

They HAVE to fix it so there is a pinned icon like there was in past versions. Who the hell hides something like that? I need to quickly do it in class sometimes and farting around with several layers of menu is beyond stupid. There is a ton of empty toolbar space sitting there with no way to add anything to it while we have to screw around with menus for important frequently-used tools? Completely insane.

Anyone know if there has been any headway on this? I use this tool always for Adobe so need quick access. Many thanks for any updates!

can you show a screenshot? I can't seem to follow these instructions. Thank you.

I can't take a screenshot, but follow what I tell you to do:
Select the area of your interest by drawing a box with the selection tool (the classic arrow), then right-clicking a menu will appear in which you can choose "copy image" or "take snapshot"

This was more clear. Thanks so much! These Adobe "upgrades" are driving me nuts!!!
Maybe you can assist with another issue. Where is the zoom option to "Fit one page within the window" as a bitton. I was able to default it in the settings when I first open, but then if I use the marque zoom or anything else, I can't get back to that option... again, it's driving me nuts!!!

I can take a snapshop, but when I go to print the snapeshot doesn't show up and there are no options to select. This is really annoying. Adobe has really mades some bad choices in their so called updates.

Just to avoid confusion. There is actually no "Acrobat Pro DC". The product name is "Adobe Acrobat", available as Standard or Pro.
Next, the version 22 is only valid for a specific install. There are several issues, like Acrobat for Enterprise or 32 Bit, 64 Bit etc. I also have the latest Acrobat Pro, but it's not version 22.

Why make it so complicated and hide the command that people often used. Garbage.

Thank the fully it is easy to revert back to previous version, with all the familiar menus and leave comments on why you reverted! Phew! I feel like I am back home! 🙂

Right click on the PDF document in the window, select "take a snapshot", then select the window you want to "snapshot", boom! it selects it and the program does a "snapshot". Right click on the blue highlighted window and print.
