What they're calling an image field is simply a standard button with an icon only layout and the following Mouse Up JavaScript:

event.target.buttonImportIcon();

You can create such a button with any version of Acrobat as far back as version 3.5. For it to work in Reader to import images (as opposed a page from a PDF), the most recent version of Reader is needed.

Alright. I was hoping that the newest version of Image Field would do the image trick, we'll see.

The icons are available in version 15.023.20056 of Adobe Acrobat DC.

So the problem is that this update haven't been pushed out in Europe/Denmark.. something like that?
