Why does the text reverse when I move the text box, or delete any text?

Hi all,

So I downloaded a PDF that I want to make some edits too.  The problem is, any time I try to delete any of the text in any of the text boxes, it deletes what I have highlighted, then reverses the remaining text.  Just to be specific, the beginning of the text is now in the bottom right, and it ends in the top left.  Anyone know why it might be doing this, and how to get around it?

Thanks!

Editing PDFs in this way is risky and complicated. The results can vary greatly, depending on a lot of factors.

Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of Acrobat. Beyond that there's not much else that can be done.
